Description
The EAC is a community-based organization that provides education and health programs to several villages on Kenya's coast. The EAC’s mission is to help communities eradicate poverty by empowering themselves, by improving literacy for women and children, and by improving the communities’ overall health status. The organization currently operates a variety of successful programs, including one of the area’s highest performing nursery and primary schools, a health services outreach program via a team of Community Health Workers (CHWs), and an HIV/AIDS education program.
