Advisor
Michael Morrow
Degree Name
Master of Arts in Counseling
Description
This breakout session invites attendees to explore the definition of professional quality of life in application to graduate students. Throughout graduate school, students are pushed to juggle more than just assignments (e.g., work, family, financial stress), leading many to feel overwhelmed and stressed. This discussion will offer space to examine ways in which professional quality of life is challenged throughout graduate school and ways to maximize the positive components, while managing the unavoidable negative aspects. Attendees will be able to share experiences and tips in hopes of understanding how graduate students can maintain a professional quality of life without risking their academic and professional success.
