Abstract

It is not uncommon for patients post-meniscectomy to complain of knee pain or decrease in function. There are several management options to explore with your patient, including meniscal allograft transplantation (MAT). This article reviews the effectiveness of MAT in managing pain and function in different patient populations and highlights criteria in selecting patients for MAT with high probability of positive outcomes.
