Abstract
There is very little information regarding anime/manga to be found online and when you do find a scholarly article it is biased against anime/manga. This survey is the opposite being biased positive towards anime/manga. Not many people are fully aware of what anime is and only see it as Pokemon and childish cartoons but anime is much more than that. It is important to find out people's perception of anime to fully understand what the majority of people think of the medium. I designed a survey to approach this situation and asked as many different people as possible.
