Abstract

This presentation strives to help providers diagnose Borderline Personality Disorder and decide on a treatment option shown to be most efficacious for their patient's symptoms. Currently, no medications are indicated in the treatment of BPD, so information was compiled on researched treatment options. The issue of polypharmacy is also discussed, as an effort to avoid this issue in future clinical practice.
