Abstract

Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is a chronic, dermatologic condition that is estimated to affect 1% of the U.S. population. Despite the prevalence of the disease, many clinical providers lack familiarity with the disorder which leads to significant delay in proper diagnosis and treatment. This project sought to create a CME to assist providers in familiarizing themselves with the clinical course of the disease, and provide general recommendations for treatment at various stages.
