Abstract

In military veterans, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a common mental illness that many live with once they have been discharged from the armed services. Once the veterans return to their homes and start acclimating to civilian life, (PTSD) can cause disruption in their daily lives and mental health. Many of these patients are unable to receive treatment and care for their PTSD in person due to barriers such as their distance to a facility, a disability, etc. This research hopes to determine the efficacy and feasibility of alternative ways of providing access to care for these veterans without having them leave the comfort of their home.
