Abstract

Reading in the Dark is a three-act play following two adolescents with ADHD. Morgan O'Connor, a lonely overachiever struggling to appear normal, and Delilah Martin, a proudly hyperactive student who frequently clashes with her teachers, form an uneasy friendship as they try to stay afloat throughout a tumultuous year of high school. The play is fictional but based off of my own experiences in high school and college as an ADHD student.
