Abstract
By analyzing homoerotic tendencies between the boys through the wonders of queer theory, I deconstruct the text, creating a counterargument to the norm. I argue that instead of the boys cannibalizing on each other into savagery, this new queer environment frees them of societal norms and allows them to be more open with themselves, their sexuality, and each other.
